Cassandra Coats

Cassandra Coats is the founder and owner of Coats Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, contracts, real estate, business formation and transactions, and related litigation. A lifelong Oklahoma resident and native of Vinita, Cassandra attended The University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in Business Finance and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She received her Juris Doctor from The University of Oklahoma College of Law. In addition to her law practice, Cassandra served for many years as an Associate Examiner for the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners, during which time she wrote and graded questions for the Oklahoma Bar Exam. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Grand Lake Association and is an Affiliate Member and former Board Member of the Vinita Lions Club. Cassandra served for numerous years on the Board of Editors for the Oklahoma Bar Journal, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for CASA of Northeast Oklahoma, Inc. She is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Section and the Real Property Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. In her personal time, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her husband Derek, her daughter Lawrence, and their dog Luke, often outdoors, boating, traveling, and attending her daughter’s soccer games and numerous activities.
